American Defense Company General Dynamics is working on a prototype of an electronic warfare system to be developed on an armored personnel carrier chassis.
The mobile EW system which also called as Tactical Electronic Warfare System-Infantry Brigade Combat Team (TEWS-IBCT), is the new generation of former electronic warfare system Flyer-72 that were also developed by General Dynamics.
It is stated that the biggest problem of mobile tactical electronic warfare systems in this concept is the lack of sufficient battery capacity.
General Dynamics try to solve this power problem with its long-term research activities on battery technology.
