Elbit Systems has been awarded contracts worth approximately $277 million from an international customer for the supply of 30 mm UT30MK2 turrets and ammunition. The UT30MK2, which will be delivered under the contract, stands out as a fully modular and low-profile turret system designed to enhance the firepower of armored platforms while maintaining crew safety.
The system’s open architecture enables the integration of multiple weapon systems, including a 30 mm cannon, a coaxial 7.62 mm machine gun, and anti-tank guided missiles. Thanks to its low-profile design, the turret reduces the silhouette of armored vehicles and is also supported by a variety of ammunition options tailored to operational requirements.
