Russia's Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov revealed that the Russian Aerospace Force (RAF) will receive 16 new Sukhoi Su-34 (NATO reporting name: Fullback) aircraft in 2017, instead of initially planned delivery of 14 fighters. Russia is to take delivery of a total 92 Su-34s under a 2012 contract.
The minister added that Starting from 2018, the Novosibirsk Aviation Factory would start modernization of Su-34 bombers.
