German Army has awarded a contract to Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) for HX2 family logistics vehicles on 5 July. The $255 million contract covers an initial batch of 558 trucks to be delivered between 2018-2021. The HX2 family comes in variants ranging from 4×4 to 10×10, configured for a multitude of different missions: cargo trucks and heavy-duty recovery vehicles, tankers and system platforms as well as folding-road and bridge-laying systems.
