New integration work was carried out on the Pedestal Mounted Stinger (KMS) systems developed as the main contractor of ASELSAN.

National IFF Short / Medium Range Interrogator Devices were integrated into KMS, which has two separate configurations, ATILGAN and ZIPKIN.

Ground tests of the study carried out within the scope of the Friendly Enemy Recognition Identification Systems (IFF MOD-5) Project were conducted on 1-3 July. In the ground tests, using the National IFF Interrogator Mobile Test Station developed by ASELSAN, tests were successfully completed in all MODs, primarily MOD-4 and MOD-5. Sikorsky S70 Helicopter was used in flight tests. Tests were successfully completed in all MODs, MOD-4 and MOD-5.

ATILGAN has been developed to protect armoured troops from air raids, and the ZIPKIN System has been developed to protect fixed facilities and troops of the Land, Navy and Air Force.
