The US Navy commissioned new Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS John Finn (DDG 113) with a ceremony held on 15 July at Pearl Harbor. USS John Finn (DDG 113) is the 29th Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer built by Ingalls Shipbuilding.
Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers are multi-mission surface combatants capable of conducting anti-air warfare, anti-submarine warfare, and anti-surface warfare. USS John Finn will be homeported at Naval Base San Diego, California.
