Turaç, which produces light weapons ammunition, offers a new weight-oriented cartridge solution. The new 12-caliber 50 millimetre single-shot Mini Slug in the company's Tactical Series allows for the use of more ammunition.

 “We produced a high cost but completely weight-oriented product in Mini Slug compared to the standard 12 millimetres.” Turaç Chairman Fatih Altunbaş said.  Weighing 28 grams, the munition has an effective range of 150 meters and a maximum range of 250 meters.

The Mini Slug, which is used as a hunting flare, can also be operational in the armed forces. It has the ability to use it effectively in munitions, building and indoor operations that provide more than standard cartridge capability with its lightweight and small structure.
