Elbit Systems carried out a remotely operated live demonstration of its multi-mission Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) system Seagull using control consoles situated 3 thousand 515-km away at DSEI Exhibition. Seagull performed an Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) mission sailing in the Haifa Bay, Israel. The platform demonstrated its ability to detect and classify objects in real-time.
The 12-meter long Seagull USV is designed to conduct ASW, Mine Hunting and Mine Sweeping (MCM), Electronic Warfare (EW), maritime security and underwater commercial missions.
