BrahMos-ER, an enhanced version of the BRAHMOS supersonic cruise missile, has been successfully test fired on 11 March from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) Chandipur, off the coast of Odisha. BrahMos Aerospace CEO Dr. Sudhir Mishra stated that BrahMos-ER has a range of over 400, with a supersonic speed of 2.8 Mach. The launch has been carried out from the Mobile Autonomous Launcher (MAL) deployed in full configuration.Â
