Boeing announced that it will not compete for Belgian government's new fighter aircraft replacement tender. The company stated that they did not see an opportunity to compete on a truly level playing field with F/A-18 Super Hornet and that the decision would allow Boeing to concentrate its efforts and resources on supporting its global customers, securing new orders and investing in technology and systems required to meet the threats of today and tomorrow.Â
