Belgium Received Final Offers

Belgium received the Best and Final Offer (BAFO) for the replacement of its F-16 air combat capability. 

Belgian Ministry of Defence announced they have received offers on 14 February from the UK Department of Defense's representative agencies Eurofighter Typhoon and the US Joint Program Office representing Lockheed-Martin F-35A which begins the evaluation phase of the procedure. The Ministry revealed the evaluation criteria and their relative importance in the evaluation in its statement. 

The country also requested support for the operation of this new capability until the end of 2030.
