Baykar Technology announced the export of Bayraktar TB2 AUAV to Albania on Tuesday.

At a ceremony held in Tirana, an agreement was signed between Albania and Baykar for the export of Bayraktar TB2 AUAV.

“Baykar will be engaged in the training of those who will be prepared to take over the operation of the control center of the state-of-the-art facility at NATO’s new Kuçova Air Base being built in Albania” said Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar, who attended the ceremony, said: “It has already been proven that these technologies are really important assets in the inventory. They can be used not only in times of war but also in times of peace. Here we will establish a service center that will serve Albania and neighboring countries.”
