General Dynamics Mission Systems announced that it has completed a comrehensive testing of the autonomous surface mine countermeasure unmanned undersea vehicle (UUV) developed for the US Navy. Designed to detect buried and bottom mines as well as submerged at various depths, Knifefish UUV is planned to be installed on the navy's Littoral Combat Ships (LCSs), as a part of mine-countermeasures (MCM) mission package.
