Australian government has released a Naval Shipbuilding Plan on 16 May, which supports the continuous build programme as a part of country's strategies. The plan covers enhancing shipbuilding infrastructure, developing workforce and a competitive local industrial base, and a promoting national collaborative approach.Â
According to the plan, the government spared $965 million to modernise facilities in Adelaide, South Australia, and Perth, Western Australia. The shipbuilding industry will also employ more than 15 thousand personnel to meet the workforce requirement.

NATO and partner nations are taking part in exercise Ramstein Legacy 22, a NATO large-scale live-fire air defence exercise. Seventeen Allied and partner countries trained in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland with aircraft, missile defence systems and electronic warfare systems from 6 to 10 June 2022.
