ASELSAN has signed two contracts with a total value of approximately €30 million in scope of the procurement of mobile surveillance vehicles in order to increase the border surveillance capacity in Turkey and EU borders. Deliveries under the contract signed with the Central Finance and Contracts Unit of the Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of Treasury will be made in 2018.

ASELSAN became the main contractor for a tactical wheeled armored vehicle (TTZA) -based project for the first time with this tender. The company is expected to use Katmerciler's new 4×4 tactical wheeled mine-protected combat vehicle HIZIR.
