Armata Will Move Into Serial Production in 2020

Russian T-14 Armata tanks will be ready for serial production in 2020, TASS reports. a source in the Russian military-industrial complex told TASS that in accordance with the 2018-2027 State Armaments Program, hundreds of Armata tanks will be produced and deployed, initially to the Western and Southern Military Districts.

The source also said that in the second half of 2018, the delivery of a pilot batch of the Armata tanks to the Russian Armed Forces was expected to be completed. TASS has not yet received any official confirmation of this information.
