China, introduced its CM-401 system at Air show China 2018 in Zhuhai. CM-401 is an anti-ship ballistic missile, has developed by CASIC (China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation Limited).

The missile has a 6 Mach speed. System can perform hypersonic manoeuvres which can perform ballistic flights and cruise from upper layers of atmosphere. When the CM-401 reaches its target, the terminal phase starts and it starts to dive. The system, which is effective against medium and large targets, is claimed to have the ability to strike precision. The CM-401, which can be fired from land-based launchers or ships, can be effective in a range of 290 kilometres.
