During the 7th IDEB International Defense and Security Fair in Bratislava, statement made on Slovakia's 8×8 vehicle procurement program. According to the statement, negotiations continues between Patria and Slovakia, and agreement will sign in the coming days. The vehicles are planned to be equipped with a 30-millimeter turret developed by DMD.
In May 2017, the Slovakian government approved a budget request of 1.2 billion Euros, which the Ministry of Defense requested for the supply of 81 8×8 and 404 4×4 vehicles.
