Otokar announced that Altay's acceptance tests had been completed. Otokar, which published 27th of the news bulletin, said that it is ready to proceed with serial production, while stating that the Undersecretariat of Defense Industry is expected to evaluate Altay in order to proceed.

The newsletter also announced that COBRA II Discovery and Surveillance Vehicles, which was developed for use in Border Security missions, have begun duty in the Southeast Anatolian Region. The vehicle is equipped with a Land Surveillance Radar and a long-range Electro-Optic Sensor System, which enables long-range cross-border discovery and surveillance in different terrain and climate conditions.
