Suicide Drones, developed by STM Savunma Teknolojileri Mühendislik ve Ticaret A.Ş. (STM), continue the process of being operational in the Turkish Armed Forces.
The countdown has begun for the delivery of Alpagu, a Fixed-Wing Autonomous Tactical Attack UAV, to the forces. Alpagu, developed in line with the need in areas such as asymmetric warfare and anti-terror, stands out for its small size and functionality.
Easily transportable UAV has the ability to intelligently and image processing. The platform, which can be equipped with enough ammunition to neutralize the target, continues the testing period. Alpagu, whose capabilities for launch, flight, reach and deactivation are tested and improved, is expected to be in inventory at the end of the year.
For Alpagu, which can be integrated with STM's unarmed DRONE Togan, the company is continuing its concept work to be used for different tasks in the same herd as Kargu in the future.
At the end of the work on larger versions of Alpagu, whose weight is less than two kilograms, platforms that can engage with over 10 kilograms and larger targets will be produced.
