Czech Aero Vodochody company has upgraded its Aero L-159 ALCA light attack aircraft and unveiled the new version at the LIMA-2017 aerospace exhibition in Malaysia. The production of L-159 had been halted 15 years ago and the upgraded version is expected to give the plane 'a new future'. According to Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka, negotiations with at least three potential customers commenced already, one of them being Iraq.
