Turkish aviation company Alp Aviation will open a new helicopter facility this week. Alp Aviation Helicopter Business Center, which will be carrying out a series of critical productions for Sikorsky helicopters within the scope of the Turkish General Purpose Helicopter Project (TGMHP), will be opened during a ceremony on 3 October. The company invested $90 million for the new facility. 

11 thousand square meters plant in Eskişehir will produce gear and gearboxes, components, rotor assemblies, flight control system and landing gear and is expected to produce a business volume of $500 million.

Exporting to countries like USA, France and Canada, Alp Aviation manufactures helicopter tail propeller drive shaft system, landing gear and aircraft structural components, hydraulic and fuel pipe systems to companies such as Sikorsky, Pratt & Whitney, Lockheed Martin, UTC Aerospace Systems, Honeywell and Boeing.
