The announcement regarding the ALBATROS-S USV Pack Project initiated by the Presidency of Defense Industries and carried out by ASELSAN, was made by the President of Defense Industries Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir.

Demir shared the latest development in the ALBATROS-S USV project with his social media account. Demir shared: “We continue to develop high-autonomy unmanned sea vehicles and expand our USV family! In the 3rd phase of the project, we implemented the 8-pack architecture. #Albatross-S USV Pack performs different tasks, shares sub-tasks, and is divided into sub-flocks.”

ALBATROS-S USV was designed as an Unmanned Marine Vehicle Swarm system with the ability to navigate without the need for user intervention, to perform tasks in a swarm formation independent of a central control, and high level of autonomy. ALBATROS-S USV, designed to successfully perform key tasks in the Turkish navy, is being developed by ASELSAN.
