The Gray Eagle Extended Range (GE-ER) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), manufactured by General Atomics, performed a 42-hour endurance flight on 6 August. The flight marked 68% increase in endurance compared to the UAV's predecessor.
GE-ER is a next-generation advanced variant of the original Gray Eagle and is able to carry out surveillance, communications relay, and weapons delivery missions.
