A SAT (Underwater Attack) team of the Turkish Naval Forces Command participated in The Safe Gulf 2025exercise, which began on October 21, 2025, in Aqaba, Jordan, upon the invitation of the host country. The exercise concluded today, October 23. Held for the first time this year, the exercise aims to enhance regional maritime security and strengthen cooperation among friendly nations.
During the exercise, the Turkish SAT team provided capacity-building and training support to Jordanian boarding teams. Within this framework, “Close Combat” and “Shipboard Search” training sessions were successfully completed.

The Turkish Naval Forces Command emphasized that the training, which shared the knowledge and experience of Turkish personnel, made a significant contribution to the operational capabilities of the Royal Jordanian Navy.
The exercise is assessed to have strengthened Turkey’s maritime deterrence and its interoperability with allied nations.
