A test date has been set for the modernized RD-191M engine for Angara, which Russia has developed as a carrier rocket. The first prototype will be tested on the rocket in 2021, and in mid-2022 the engine will be tested.
Angara is scheduled to launch the “Eagle” spacecraft into orbit in 2023, commanding from a distance.
The contract for the Angara rocket, which will produce four in total, is worth approximately $240 million.
