Ahmet Çağrı Özer was appointed as chief executive of Defence Industry Technologies (Savunma Sanayi Teknolojileri/ SSTEK), established in 2016 as a subsidiary of Presidency of Defence Industries.
Özer worked as a project manager at Turkish Airline’s (Türk Hava Yolları/ THY) maintenance, repair and modification centre Turkish Technic. Özer worked as CEO of TCI In-Cabin Systems, which was established with the joint venture of THY, Turkish Technic and Turkish Aerospace (Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii A.Ş./ TUSAŞ).
Özer, who also served as CEO of NG System Technology Aerospace Engineering and Spectra Global Investment, is currently the president of the Turkish Air Sports Federation (Türkiye Hava Sporları Federasyonu / THSF).
Mustafa Gürsoy was the general manager of SSTEK before Özer, carrying out promotional and cooperation activities between companies and other institutions and organizations.
