The US has signed a new agreement with the DARPA (Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency). With an agreement worth US $ 3.1 million, DARPA will start the third phase of its autonomous software development. With the software to be developed, air force task planning capabilities will be increased. DIRECT (Distributed, Interactive, Command-and-Control Tool) software developed under the RSPACE (Resilient Synchronized Planning and Assessment for the Contested Environment) programme is aimed to increase awareness in air battlefield.
