MBDA's Sea Ceptor Air Defence Weapon System has officially entered service of UK Royal Navy, Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson has announced on 24 May at the RUSI Sea Power Conference in London. The $1,13 billion system will be carried by the Royal Navy’s Type 23 frigates and new Type 26 frigates.
