India's Tejas Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) has successfully test-fired an Israeli-made Derby beyond-visual-range air-to-air missile (BVRAAM) from the firing range off the Goa coast, announced on 27 April in an official statement. Integration of Derby, a BVR class missile, is one of the major objectives of Final Operational Clearance (FOC) of LCA Tejas.
