Leonardo will deliver four additional M-346 aircraft to Poland by 2020, increasing the number of the aircraft in service from 8 to 12.
Leonardo and the Armament Inspectorate of the Polish Ministry of National Defense have signed a contract to supply four additional M-346 Advanced Jet Trainers (AJT) that will join the Polish Air Force’s existing fleet of eight aircraft by 2020. The contract, worth more than 115 million euro, includes a support package and an option to buy four more aircraft.
Leonardo said in its press release that so far 72 M-346s were ordered by Italy, Poland, Singapore, and Israel.
