Otokar announced its financial results for 2017. Otokar General Manager Serdar Görgüç stated that 2017 was a productive year for Otokar; “Otokar has left behind a successful year in which it made significant progress in the defence industry. In 2017, our turnover increased by 9 percent to 1,79 billion TL, while our net profit increased by 6 percent to reach 99,4 million TL. Otokar's exports in 2017 reached a total value of $149 million.”
