The Head of Ukrainian state-owned defence company UkrOboronProm (UOP) Roman Romanov resigned from his post. Romanov made a statement regarding his resignation on UOP website.
Romanov said, “We have won. By saying “we” I mean all 80 thousand UKROBORONPROM employees, who managed to transform the biggest defence union of Ukraine into an effective mechanism,” summarizing the changes since 2014 when he first assigned this post. Romanov drew attention to how the relations with Russian defence sector were cut off.
Romanov attributed significant importance to Turkey-Ukraine relations.
