Sweden's Saab company has introduced the Sea Giraffe 4A Fixed Face (FF), a fixed-panel configuration of the company's active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar family.
The radar is a derivative of Saab’s family of rotating, full AESA S-band radar systems and provides a combination of air surveillance, air defence, detection, classification, warning and weapon locating capabilities. Sea Giraffe 4A Fixed Face has a low top weight, allowing it to be installed on many types of surface vessels.
