United Engine Corporation (UEC), a part of Russian defence company Rostec, announced today that the development process of the main engines for fifth generation fighter Sukhoi T-50 (PAK FA) are scheduled to be completed by 2020. Having taken its maiden flight on 29 January 2010, Sukhoi T-50’s serial production is expected to begin this year.
