The results of the giant research, which includes the biggest 500 industrial companies organized every year by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, are released. The study, which was first publicly announced as “100 Big Companies” in 1968, was expanded to 300 organizations in 1978 and to 500 organizations in 1981. As a result of the study, ASELSAN from the defence industry companies stayed the 20th place in 2016. The Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), which rises from the 29th place to second place. While the Roketsan has risen from 89 to 75, the biggest leap is BMC, which rises from 137 to 79. OTOKAR is decreased from 71 to 87. Tusaş Motor Sanayii A.Ş. operates in Eskişehir climbed from 119 to 129. While the Machine and cCemical Industry (M.K.E.K.) was reduced to 131 from 121st. Tümosan Motor ve Tractor Sanayi A.Ş., who took part in the engine production project for Altay Main Battle Tank for a period of time. It dropped from 299 to 259. Nurol Makina ve Sanayi A.Ş. list from entered the 350th place. Öztiryaklar Madeni Eşya San. and Tic. A.Ş.  company dropped from 466 to 456. Yakupoğlu Tekstil and Deri San. Tic. A.Ş. dropped from 391th to the 477. Alp Havacılık San. and Tic. A.Ş.  has risen to 479th place from 497th place.
