NH90 TTH (Tactical Transport Helicopter) helicopters are one of the platforms that users frequently complain due to the high maintenance costs in addition to their high operating costs.

Belgium announced that the mission plans will be reduced due to the high operating costs of NH90 TTH helicopters. In addition to the high operating costs, the decision taken due to frequent maintenance requirements, high failure rate and lack of personnel. Currently, there are eight platforms, four of which are NH90 TTH and NH90 NFH in the inventory which are the naval model of the platform, are also complaining about the low combat readiness.

It is spoken in defence backstages that only 900 hours of flight are foreseen until 2023, when helicopters will be withdrawn from service.
