Production for Qatar Will Begin in 2019

Boeing plans to begin production of F-15 Advanced Eagle aircraft for Qatar in 2019. The company officials revealed that if the agreement is finalised in near future, production of 36 F-15QAs will begin in 2019 and completed by 2022. 

The $12 billion contract was signed on 14 June during Qatari Minister of State for Defence Affairs visit to Washington. The F-15QA is an advanced variant of the two-seated F-15E Strike Eagle, equipped with an active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar.
