SSI Plans to Improve Corporate Collaborations

A cooperation protocol between the Defense and Aviation Industry Exporters Association (SSI) and the Defense and Aviation Industry Manufacturers Association (SASAD) was signed recently. SSI Chairman Naki Polat answered our questions about this cooperation.

C4Defence: Do you have a goal or suggestion to present to your members after this cooperation protocol? What kind of contribution do you predict will contribute to the exporter companies?

Naki Polat, Chairman of the Board of SSI: The Defense and Aviation Industry Exporters Association (SSI) and the Defense and Aviation Industry Manufacturers Association (SASAD) are two valuable organizations that have undertaken important responsibilities for our industry.

The aim of the signed protocol is to contribute to the increase of our industry exports by strengthening the cooperation and coordination between the two organizations.

We plan to implement projects in a short time by developing projects aimed at effectively promoting our companies abroad, opening training programs for export and marketing activities, expanding access to databases for market research activities, and obtaining the maximum benefit from government incentives through joint works to be carried out.

I believe that with the development of the cooperation between SSI and SASAD, the resources will be used more effectively for our companies and export development activities will be carried out in a more coordinated manner.
